Abstract

|
Automatic determination of chloramphenicol in pharmaceutical preparations was established by means of hydroxamic acid method with Technicon Autcanalyzer. Accordint to the results, the following could be summerized.
1. Beer´s law obeyed for 0.5~2.5mg/ml.
2. Reproducibility (S≤1.5%) is good.
3. Automatic method (S=1.7%) is more accurate than manual method (S=2.1%).
4. A large number of Chloramphenicol preparations can be analyzed with ease, speed and accuracy using this method.
